On August 19, 2025, Arkade Developers achieved a landmark in urban branding and real estate innovation by acquiring the naming and branding rights for the Bangur Nagar Metro Station on Mumbai Metro Line 2A. From now on, the station will be officially recognized as Arkade Bangur Nagar Metro Station.



A Station Rebranded into a Statement

The renaming was celebrated at an inauguration ceremony graced by Arkade Developers, Signpost India Limited, and Arkade’s customers—a ribbon‑cutting event that also coincided with the launch of Arkade’s annual report.

Mr. Arpit Jain, Director of Arkade Developers, articulated the vision behind this move:

“The renaming … reflects Arkade’s belief in shaping cityscapes through community‑focused urban design. As the Goregaon‑Malad belt emerges as a lifestyle hotspot, we’re proud to contribute to the area’s evolution. … [It is] a meaningful step in deepening our connection with the community we serve.” 

Meanwhile, Shripad Ashtekar, Founder and MD of Signpost India Limited—Arkade’s branding partner—shared:

“Today marks a milestone in redefining the way brands engage with the city. … Arkade Developers becomes the first real estate developer in this line to embrace this vision, setting a benchmark for the industry to align with public infrastructure and urban transformation.”


 

Why This Is a Big Deal

Located in Goregaon West, the Bangur Nagar station is a vital node for daily commuters as well as the growing residential population—serving as a gateway into one of Mumbai’s most dynamic growth corridors.
